VINTON, Virginia - October 25, 2007 - Sunapsys, Inc., a Vinton-based
company specializing in the integration of controls and information
systems, has been awarded the contract to develop, build, and install the
control and information system for the New River Regional Water Treatment
Plant being constructed in Wythe County, Virginia. The multi-year contract
won by Sunapsys includes the main water treatment plant as well as many
remote pump and tank sites and is valued at over $800,000. Sunapsys
competed with both local and international firms and won the contract
through a qualification process which evaluated experience, knowledge of
the project, and proposed system design.
